Shree Krishnayan Gaushala : A Ray of Hope for India’s Ailing and Abandoned Cows

In our culture, cows are considered as the mothers of the whole world. The abode of all the deities has been described in the organs of the cow. Even the shadow of a cow has been considered auspicious in our scriptures. The darshan of mother cow at the time of traveling is very beneficial for a pleasant journey. Cows are also considered as holy powers in our religious texts. Even the air that touches the cow’s body is considered sacred in our Sanatana Dharma.

Even though cows are given the status of mother in Indian culture, their plight has become a common picture in the same country India where cows are given the status of mother in Sanatan religion.  Sometimes we see a cow dying of hunger or sometimes a cow eating plastic and garbage. There is no provision for those cows in the country who are left helpless. As a result, they often fall victim to accidents. Many times they eat polythene, which makes them seriously ill. The condition of cowsheds is also not hidden from anyone. God has made cow mother as one of His most advanced creations. She holds the status of mother of the entire universe. We worship her as a virtuous act that we consider as our duty with pure emotions. Therefore, Shrikrishnayan Gaushala has taken up the great resolve of Gauseva.

Help Shri Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala

Shree Krishnayan Desi Gauraksha Evam Gaulok Dham Sewa Samiti is one of the largest Gaurakshashala of Desi cows in India. We protect, feed & shelter ailing, starving, destitute and stray Desi Cows & Bulls, most of which are abandoned by their owners or saved from butchers. Most of these Gauvansh are milk barren. These cows are brought to our Gaushala from tough conditions. All these cows are fed, sheltered, and looked after by hundreds of Gausewaks who work round the clock. This Gaushala is run and managed by saints. We do not exploit these cows for milk but distribute it free to saints / tapaswis / Gausewaks / Ashrams.

We started with just 11 cows in the year 2010 in Haridwar, and presently we shelter and feed more than 18000 cows & Bulls in various locations all put together. This number is ever-increasing as stray Desi Cows & Bulls mostly deserted by their owners are brought to our Gaurakshashala every day. We have very big adequate shades in huge numbers to provide good shelters to these saved gauvansh. We continue building cow sheds as the number of cows protected is ever increasing.

Shelter and Care in Guashala

Shree Krishnayan Desi Gauraksha Evam Gaulok Dham Sewa Samiti's main goal is to rescue and provide shelter to these neglected cows and bulls. The organization's efforts have helped save thousands of lives, providing them with a safe and comfortable shelter, food, and medical care.

Their Gaushala is a spacious facility spread across multiple locations, designed to house these animals and provide them with a healthy and safe environment. The cows and bulls are provided with nutritious food, clean water, and medical attention, ensuring their well-being and longevity.

The organization's efforts are commendable, given that most of these cows and bulls are abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Without proper care and nourishment, these animals face a slow and painful death, making the organization's work all the more crucial.

If you all want that mother cow should not wander from door to door in a hungry, destitute and helpless state, should not be slaughtered in slaughterhouses, then you are humbly requested to give financial support to Shree Krishnayan Desi Gauraksha Evam Gaulok Dham Sewa Samiti.
