Cow
has been considered important in India since the Vedic period. Cow is
considered sacred even from Hindu religious point of view and its killing is
considered one of the heinous sins. According to mythological beliefs, cow"Kamadhenu" is also one of the fourteen gems that appeared during the
churning of the ocean. Mother cow reinforces the divine qualities of
non-violence, compassion, affection and affection.
Cow,
Gopal, Gita, Gayatri and Ganga are the life and support of Dharmaprana Bharat.
Among these, the importance of mother cow is paramount. Mother cow is
worshipable, which cannot be equaled by any deity or pilgrimage. Such a virtue
is achieved by mere sight of mother cow, which cannot be achieved even by doing
big sacrifices etc. Cow destroys all the sins of man just by touching it.
It
has been said in the scriptures that the human form is the best among all
forms. It is said so that he can bless his life in the pure shade of mother
cow. Gods and Goddesses and all the places of pilgrimage reside in each and
every pore of mother cow. There was a war in Pushkar to save cows from Taibar,
a companion of Aurangzeb, in which 1700 Mughal soldiers were
killed and 700 medallion Rajputs were
sacrificed but not a single cow was allowed to be slaughtered. Even today, a
cow-ghat has been built in Pushkar in his memory.
Feed
a grass to mother cow and it will reach all the deities. That's why the
scriptures say that if all the gods and goddesses and ancestors are to be
pleased together, then there is no better ritual than cow devotion and cow
service.
It
is written in the Bhavishya Purana that Brahma resides in the back of the
mother cow, Vishnu in the neck, Rudra in the mouth, all the deities in the
middle and sages in the hair follicles, Annat snake in the tail, all the
mountains in the hooves, the Ganges rivers in the urine of the cow, Lakshmi and
the eyes have sun-moon.
Go
anywhere in India and visit all the places of pilgrimage. You will find only
Shri Vishnu Bhagwan in some temple, Shri Lakshmi Narayan two in some temple. In
some temple you will find three Sita Ram Laxman and in some temple you will
find six deities like Shri Shankar Parvati, Ganesh, Kartikeya, Bhairav, Hanuman
ji.
At
the most, ten to twenty gods and goddesses will be found in someone, but even
after searching the entire globe, no such place of worship or pilgrimage will
be found in which thousands of gods are together. All 36
types of gods and goddesses reside in the cow, that's why in our Hindu society
it is the practice of getting cow-grass first thing in the morning.
The
desi cow has a pulse called Surya-Ketu in its spinal cord, through which the
svarnakshar carotene is made in its blood by the rays of the sun. This golden
alphabet is present in Gauras, due to which cow's milk-curd-ghee is golden in
colour.
If
you want to see such a divine place, such a divine temple, such a divine
pilgrimage, then there is no other place of worship, no chanting, no path of
welfare for Sanatanadharmi Hindus than cow. There is neither any yoga-yajna nor
any means of salvation. Everything in cow is beneficial and best. Cow dung is
considered very pure. In ancient times, houses were smeared with cow dung to
purify the house. Even today this work is going on in far-flung villages.
Gaumutra
is also sprinkled in the house for purification and consumption of pure cow
urine helps in getting rid of various diseases of the stomach. By feeding cow's
milk to a small child, his intellectual development takes place at a rapid
pace. In ancient times, there was importance of keeping Peepal in Chaupal,
Tulsi in the courtyard and keeping cow in the house.
Let
us all together serve such a loving and divine mother cow and make our life
successful. Shree Krishnayan Desi Gauraksha Evam
Gaulok Dham Sewa Samiti’ is one of the largest Gaurakshashala of Desi cows in
India. We protect, feed & shelter ailing, starving, destitute and stray
Desi Cows & Bulls, the majority of which are abandoned by their owners or

Gausewa by giving financial support as much as possible and help the cow mother
to get her lost honor and rights.
